I DID IT!!! Today I ran the Bedford Autodrome – My second Half Marathon… my first half was an eye opener and completely new experience, I was disappointed with my time… but today, today I went out, paced myself just how I had planned and it felt bloody good! I got to that sub 2 hour that I’ve been hoping for and I’m absolutely buzzing! Drive, determination & passion, 3 key things to success… Drive – pushes you towards something you feel compelled and obligated to do. Determination – helps you stay motivated and continue to strive towards the one thing you want to achieve. Passion – is addictive, it flows through us naturally and pulls us towards something that you desire. If you’ve got goals in mind, dig deep and go get em! ??? #halfmarathon #bedfordautodrone #runninggrandprix #weekend #Sunday #secondrace #mindovermatter #instarunner #running #challenge #yourslef #21km #13miles #thisgirlcan #finishline #imadeit #sub2 #goals #proud #drive #determination #passion #ididit ??‍♀️?????‍♀️??

• PB • I’m trying so hard not to be gutted that I just missed out on a sub-2:15 half marathon and focus on the fact that I took another five minutes off my PB. Race was going to plan until the final four miles when my knee cap felt like it was disappearing up into my quad muscle ? So I ran/walked the last few miles, which was disappointing, but I got it done and I’m very proud of that ☺️ • • • • • • #runninggrandprix #wwUK #wwFreestyle #wwfamily #wwfood #wwinstafam #WeAreWW #smartpoints #weightloss #weightlossjourney #weightlosssuccess #wwsuccess #wwfooddiary #mywwjourney #wwmaguk #mywwkitchen #wwgoldmember #wellnessthatworks #WWsupport #wwfeaturefriday #runnersofinstagram #halfmarathontraining #instarunner #instarun #marathontraining #firstmarathon #marathonrunner #runner

Not my best 5k race but at least I finished it in 18mins??‍♂️ Was physically there at the start line but not mentally. The first mile was paced well at 5:25mins but after that, I slipped of the pace finishing the race with my average HR being 144bpm. Plus a tough head wind did not help and a 55 hour week at work. Overall it was just frustrating knowing that I am a min and a half quicker ? However, we all have a good and bad races but ultimately we learn and take it forward to the next race (and fail even better for next time ?). With that being said, I still had fun and it’s always a pleasure to be back racing? So thank you Bedford autodrome running Grand Prix and well done everyone ? • Treated myself to a post race workout which included 1.5 x Sally up press up, 75 jumping squats, 5:30 min plank, PRMC sit ups and press ups challenges ✅ • I’ve got a few days off now so will clock up the miles along with some indoor cycling marathons and workouts ?‍♂️ #runninggrandprix
